Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.
• Develop cloud adoption strategies, migration plans, and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services based on business needs.
• Architect and deploy IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions across cloud platforms.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Automate cloud operations using Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting.
• Ensure cloud security best practices, including identity management, encryption, and compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2.
• Implement Zero Trust security models, role-based access controls (RBAC), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Design hybrid cloud architectures, integrating on-premises data centers with cloud environments.
• Optimize networking, CDN, and load-balancing strategies for high-performance applications.
• Monitor cloud usage and optimize cost efficiency using FinOps best practices.
• Establish governance frameworks for resource management, tagging policies, and access controls.
• Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to implement cloud solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT teams.
• Document cloud architectures, best practices, and operational guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and compliance.

Preferred Skills:

• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect).
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of AI/ML cloud services for data-driven applications.
• Familiarity with cloud-native databases (DynamoDB, CosmosDB, BigQuery, etc.).
